Experimento: Butter Inside Cinnamon Biscuit

Little bit of darkness in middle indicates butter might have worked its magic

A chilly early morning and out of buttermilk biscuits for breakfast? Time to make more and entertain a little experiment with the single cinnamon biscuit** that I make with each batch of my super-speedy biscuits*. Even though I always divide the dough for that special biscuit to put cinnamon sugar in the middle and top, when it’s time to eat the goody it doesn’t break into beautiful halves. Why not try 1/2 teaspoon of butter in the middle, underneath the sprinkled sugar and see what happens?  What do you think?
