This ice cream was created last night instead of the consolation cream I’d hastily planned after the Great Peanut Butter Rolo Cookie Disaster. Before I texted a neighbor to ask if the Rolo-splattered Owlie could find a home with his family, I considered chopping the thing into bits and stirring it into a caramel ice cream. However, I’ve had in mind to stir some Kahlua liqueur taking up space in the cupboard into ice cream and a fresh hot fudge, then add the latter to the former. Mission complete. Mmm.
Purple and yellow flowers shot on the way home from neighbor children’s fun play.

The local gardeners who might know both these flowers are invited to call when they’d like a serving of this delightful way to eat Kahlua.
