2 versions Jubilee Jumbles plus Triple Caramel Browned Butter Blondies with Sugar Babies

Today is my sister Laurie’s birthday, but Maria and I celebrated with her aunt yesterday and I brought along the Jubilee Jumbles she’d requested rather than cake when I’d asked for her preference. It’s all about the frosting. I asked her if she wanted the browned butter frosting which the original recipe uses or perhaps Penuche. “I don’t care, but I want frosting!” So I made a single batch of the browned butter frosting instead of the double batch which I typically make for this cookie, used it all up and frosted the rest of the cookies with Penuche. Still waiting for birthday girl’s review of the latter.

Is it three different cookies? Let’s wait and see. I say yes because Penuche changes the cookie’s flavor.

I also made a batch of the new Triple Caramel Browned Butter Blondies* so Laurie would have options about sharing. Sometimes we just don’t want to share our favorite things.
