Today, January 15th, is the birthday of my beautiful grandniece and I created the newest Crookie* in her honor. The new Miley Reese Crookie has a base of brownie with Reese’s Peanut Butter Chips and a top which is a Milk Chocolate Chew. It “ticks all the right boxes” mixing chocolate and peanut butter with both dark and milk chocolates as well as peanut butter chips. I mailed them on Friday and she received them a day early, but I don’t think she minded the early arrival.

Crookies are my version of store-bought brookies, named after my character Crook McBirdie, a pink bird who steals frosted baked goodies. If readers are curious, Crook is seen near some raspberry cream frosting on a plate of Cupcake Joneses in the “About Me” section of this blog.
