New and exciting! Caramel Apple Pie Jones, the newest cookie in my Jones’ line. So, I was right. My Apple Pie Salted Caramel Chip Cookie (below) is now happier than ever, having joined my exclusive Joneses with piped Penuche and Dark Chocolate Jonesing. Just when I think that I’ve exhausted the flavors and textures of my Joneses, along comes another idea, I have a go and here it is, in all its glory, nothing like it anywhere in the world.* It’s scrumptious.
If you look at the next picture (and my Instagram) you’ll see how Caramel Apple Pie Jones came about. I wrote: “New! Apple Pie Salted Caramel Chip Cookie. And maybe a Jones after the small test bake today as I froze the rest of the dough for the Freezer Test which my Joneses must undergo. I think, if ever a cookie could talk, it would say, “May I have penuche frosting and a bit of chocolate Jonesing, please?” They’re delicious, made with caramelized apples and Trader Joe’s Caramel Sea Salt Baking Chips.”
*For now, my cookies are only shared in the Pacific Northwest, mostly with family and friends since I’m retired. I have a new plan for MsChef in Seattle’s cookies. Hello, China. Hello, Chinese tech. Robots could make these cookies in a Shenzhen factory and put them in little shops on the ground floor of apartments all over China, doing what I wanted to do here but couldn’t get my family to support me.
