
I am so grateful for what is about to happen in less than two hours. After five and a half months, me and solid food will get to remake our acquaintance. Just out of the oven is one dozen of my special chewy chocolate chip cookies, made with See’s Semisweet chocolate chips and none of the usual fats. (Well, no unusual fats either.) I’m going to present these warm and delicious cookies to the people from Belarus and Odessa, Ukraine who made sense out of molds and goop to make my evening meal an occasion.
