Just because I didn’t make 15 to 20 different kinds of cookies and candies for Christmas a few weeks ago in my usual 3-day/night binge bake, well, that doesn’t mean those left out won’t have their moment or that there will not be a derivative. With leftover Hershey’s Dark Chocolate Mint Truffle Kisses, it’s a no-brainer that it’s time to make my Snicks with Kisses (about which there are two prior posts.)
However, on impulse I bought one bag of a different Hershey’s candy: Mint Fudge Bon Bon Bells. It is a milk chocolate with a minty dark fudge center. They are almost double in size to the Hershey’s Kisses, but I thought it worth a try to see how they like the inside of a specialty snickerdoodle. A little friendly competition, perhaps?
