Goodies for cast and front of house on last Seattle day for The Empire Strips Back

What’s inside? Homemade goodies, hot out of the oven today

This afternoon is the final matinee in Seattle for the burlesque parody which has been playing to full houses at the theatre now owned by Seattle University and formerly known as the Cornish Playhouse. The Empire Strips Back is a play on words and not associated with the Star Wars films. It features some amazing dancers in provocative dance routines. I met several members of the cast and the front-of-house staff when I saw the production a week ago and promised homemade cookies for the last performance this season. So … this morning I baked some Sprinkles Snicks* with Vanilla Chips and Cotton Candy Essence plus the Ultimate Chocolate Chip cookie aka Browned Butter Chocolate Chard Cookie (which actually features chopped dark chocolate, not chocolate chips and is referenced in an earlier blog post.

Ah, these are ready for enjoying later this afternoon.
