This cookie came about during the Christmas baking season and there was a leftover bag full of the Hershey’s Dark Mint Truffle-filled Kisses. My lovely niece Alexa and grandniece Miley are moving to Kauai at the beginning of March, AND they missed out on this cookie when I sent the whole tin full of them to her brother and his family at Christmas as they were moving to Oahu. I’d hoped that they’d look like petite volcanos, but the kisses held their shape. Nevermind, the cookie passed the other tests. Crispy edge, filling, secret sauce. Happy Valentine’s Day.
As for me, packing for my own move out of this wretched place is proceeding and thus posting is on back burner.
